Devon White

Devon White is a licensed clinical social worker who joined TCC in 2014 as the Coordinator for the Community Support Services team at Riverside Education Academy in New Haven. He has been providing clinical services to children and adolescents for 8 years primarily servicing underserved populations at high risk for criminal justice involvement including those in DCF custody and enrolled in alternative education. His work focuses on overcoming trauma, developing strategies for educators to work with traumatized youth, as well as restorative justice. In addition to his work with youth, he provides clinical supervision to facilitators of mandated domestic violence groups and has assisted in research addressing the needs of individuals transitioning from incarceration back to the community.
