Dr. Kim is a fellowship-trained neurologist specializing in the practice of Movement Disorders. She received her medical doctorate at Columbia University and completed her residency training in Neurology and fellowship training in Movement Disorders at Columbia University Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in violin performance at the Eastman School of Music. She treats patients with all types of movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism, tremor, and ataxia, and has a particular interest in the pathophysiology and treatment of dystonia, including musician's dystonia. Her practice includes the use of botulinum toxin injection and deep brain stimulation for the treatment of movement disorders.
