Biography
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in NY and CT. My areas of expertise are evidence-based treatments, particularly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), as well as forensic psychology. I am currently the Acting Director of DBT Services at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. This includes my role as the team lead at the DBT Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). I care deeply about DBT program development. I utilize qualitative research methods in conjunction with measurement based care to tailor treatment to meet the needs of individuals and treatment delivery systems. Additional research interests include evaluating the utility of risk assessment instruments, development and evaluation of adaptations to DBT, particularly for treating racially marginalized patients and for DBT adapted to an IOP setting, and evaluating methods of personality disorder measurement.
