Alison joined the Yale Physician Associate Program in 2016 as the Associate Director of Operations. She managed daily operations including budget management, human resources, office administration and strategic initiatives to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of policies and procedures. She also worked closely with staff and faculty to make improvements to the learning environment, office logistics, operational processes, and Program assessment reporting along with the coordination of student travel and social events. In addition, she provided curriculum support for the Thesis component of Research Education.
In 2019, she accepted a newly created role of Program Analyst managing all program assessment including collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to student learning outcomes, program outcome performance, and mission effectiveness. Other areas include managing program audits and verifying Program practices meet accreditation standards. She acts as an operational resource and provides support as needed. She also assumed the role of resident historian for the Program.
Prior to joining the Program, Alison spent 15 years with Yale Medicine (the clinical practice of Yale University’s School of Medicine) in Network Development and Strategy. In that role, she assisted the University’s 19 departments with the onboarding of new faculty as well as strategic planning for increasing referrals and promoting growth. Alison is a graduate of Quinnipiac University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Finance.
