Dr. Kundishora is a resident in neurological surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 2008. He was a Michael C. Rockefeller fellow and the co-founder of Vecna Cares Charitable trust (Nairobi, Kenya) which focused on leveraging cellular phone and mobile computing technology to enhance health delivery infrastructure. Dr. Kundishora received his MD (cum laude) from Yale School of medicine where he was awarded the Parker Prize (awarded to the MD candidate who best demonstrates the qualifications of a successful physician) and the Ferris Prize (awarded for an outstanding MD thesis). He has also completed an enfolded pediatric spine deformity fellowship at Shriner's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia under Dr. Amer Samdani. His current interests include pediatric neurosurgery, defining the genetic basis of congenital neurosurgical diseases, and pediatric/adult spinal deformity.
