Biography
Abdulrahman Ahmad Alhajahjeh, MD, is a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale School of Medicine and Yale Cancer Center, where he conducts research in acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and related myeloid malignancies. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan and has experience in clinical outcomes research, real-world data analysis, systematic review and meta-analysis, prognostic modeling, and health economics. His work examines treatment effectiveness, molecular predictors of outcomes, clinical-trial access, and the clinical and economic value of emerging therapies. He is also developing expertise in designing and conducting clinical trials, including protocol development, patient selection, endpoint definition, and biomarker integration. His research has been presented at national and international hematology conferences and recognized with an American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement Award. He has also served as an abstract reviewer for a major international scientific meeting, the European Hematology Association Congress. His long-term goal is to become an academic physician-scientist and clinical investigator developing more effective, personalized, and accessible treatments for patients with myeloid malignancies.

Overview
My research focuses on improving outcomes for patients with acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and related myeloid malignancies. I use real-world data, clinical epidemiology, systematic review and meta-analysis, prognostic modeling, and health-economic methods to evaluate treatment effectiveness, molecular predictors of response and survival, and the value and accessibility of emerging therapies. I am also developing expertise in the design and conduct of clinical trials, including protocol development, patient selection, endpoint definition, and the integration of molecular and measurable residual disease biomarkers. My long-term goal is to generate evidence and develop clinically meaningful trials that support personalized treatment decisions, expand access to effective therapies, and improve care across myeloid malignancies.
