Research & Publications
Combining my medical license, research, and interests in humanitarian work led me to my current position at an NGO that works with refugees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am affiliated with the University of Malaya, through various research projects and the Global Health Equity Scholar (GHES) Fellowship 2015-2016. I am currently working on research in the areas of prison health, refugee health and disaster medicine. I am especially interested in implementation science research, service-based research and advocacy in these areas. I am always interested in mentoring and hosting Global Health students at the NGO and research site.
