Adrienne Boteler, RN

Adrienne Boteler, RN, is a practice nurse with the Palliative Care Clinic at Smilow Cancer Hospital. Adrienne has extensive experience in the health care field, beginning her career as a medical assistant for the OB/GYN, gastroenterology, and orthopedics teams, where she worked as a cast tech and developed expertise in a number of procedures. Adrienne subsequently returned to school to become a nurse, completing her education at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing. She started at Yale in 2007, working as a staff nurse on a number of different units, including general surgery, trauma, plastics, and bariatrics. She then transitioned to outpatient nursing, where she was an integral member of the Urologic Surgical Oncology clinic for several years. In 2016, she joined the Palliative Care and Smilow Pain Management Clinic teams as practice nurse and has worked hard to improve the efficiency of these growing clinics for our patients. Adrienne is proud mother of two and recently became a grandmother, dedicating her time outside of work to her family and her love of cooking.
