Biography
Dylan Duchen is a Yale-Boehringer Ingelheim Biomedical Data Science Fellow and postdoc in Dr. Steven Kleinstein’s lab in the Department of Pathology at the Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on statistical genetics/genetic epidemiology methods development, performing genetic association studies to characterize host-pathogen genetics, and investigating the host genetic factors of the adaptive immune response. He received his PhD in Genetic Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with Dr. Priya Duggal and Dr. Genevieve Wojcik. Prior to his PhD, he received his MPH in the Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from the Yale School of Public Health and worked as a bioinformatician supporting drug development efforts in industry.
