Biography
Dr. Londoño Tobón is a psychiatrist and researcher with expertise in perinatal, childhood, family, and cultural aspects of mental health. She has authored several publications in scientific journals and is increasingly involved in writing and providing expert interviews for mainstream media. She has presented in numerous national and international venues. Additionally, she is interested in advocating for mental health topics, disseminating scientific information, and mentoring through social media (Twitter/Instagram @DrLondonoTobon).
Dr. Londoño Tobón received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Stanford University with a clinical research concentration. She completed her psychiatry residency child psychiatry, and research fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Londoño Tobón also completed a perinatal mental health clinical and research fellowship at Brown University. She is currently working at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
