Biography
Alice Carter's research interests include developmental psychopathology; multidimensional assessment of social-emotional development in infancy and early childhood; developmental models that incorporate genetic and environmental factors in the expression of childhood psychopathology; and prevention and early intervention efforts that emphasize relationship-based approaches. She is currently following a large, longitudinal healthy birth cohort in the Greater New Haven area and studying developmental trajectories in child and family functioning among families with a young child with autism.
