Joseph Schindler, MD Promoted to Clinical Professor, Department of Neurology

I would like to announce the promotion of Joseph Schindler, MD to the rank of Clinical Professor, Department of Neurology. Professor Schindler is the Clinical Chief of the Division of Vascular Neurology in our Department and is Director of the Yale New Haven Comprehensive Stroke Program. He is recognized locally, regionally and nationally as a stroke clinician and program innovator. He has spent the last decade fortifying the Stroke Program at Yale University and Yale New Haven Hospital for which he has made many academic and clinical contributions. Dr. Schindler is the first member of our Department to be promoted to Professor on the Clinician track, and we are proud of his achievements.
