Biography

Jehad has come a long way to join us as a postdoc associate with the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program at the Yale School of Medicine. Born and raised in Nablus, Jehad studied medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, followed by an internship with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem. In addition to his medical background, Jehad has worked for several years as a researcher at the Hadassah HIV Clinic and has also been involved with a public health initiative by the Egyptian Health Ministry  to promote vaccination in Egypt. He enjoys taking part in public health initiatives, researching – especially in the field of infectious disease, teaching students and learning new languages. Jehad speaks English, Arabic, and Hebrew fluently.

    Responsible for the medical curriculum of 4th and 6th year students throughout the Internal Medicine Rotation, including lectures, workshops, and clinical rounds.
