Biography

Patients interested in maintaining urologic health sometimes feel anxious about office visits. Dr. Kellner believes some of the most important components of care are listening to concerns and educating patients, “Taking the time to listen to patients’ concerns and empowering them with knowledge about their condition is important so they leave the office informed and reassured.”

Dr. Kellner has been providing urologic care in the Greater New Haven area and the Shoreline since 2005.A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, he trained at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City as well as New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Kellner offers his patients laparoscopic, robotic and other minimally invasive techniques for treating urological disease. He has expertise in robotic surgery for prostate cancer and has instructed fellow urologists in learning this technique.A large focus of his practice is men’s health issues, including but not limited to the latest treatments for BPH, erectile dysfunction and vasectomy.
