DART (Detection, Assessment, Reporting, and Treatment) is a 24x 7 specialized treatment plan activated whenever an injury raises concern for possible abuse. When abuse is suspected, a team, comprised of physicians and an advanced practice registered nurse who are all board-certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics, is called to conduct a comprehensive assessment.
