Autism Biomarkers Consortium for Clinical Trials

Trial Purpose and Description

This is a multi-center longitudinal study that aims to identify biological markers that contribute to the pathobiology of autism, as well as components of social cognition affected in these disorders. The feasibility phase of the trial will include 5 ASD participants and 5 TD participants from each site for a total of 50 participants (25 ASD and 25 TD). The main study will include 275 individuals including: 200 persons with an autism spectrum disorder between 6-11 years old, and 75 typically developing persons matched by age and sex to the ASD group.

Eligibility Criteria

Developing children(TD) and children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder(ASD)
