Biography
Kathryn A. McVicar, MD trained in Pediatrics and Child Neurology at Columbia Presbyterian's Babies and Children's Hospital, now the Children's Hospital of New York. She then completed a neurophysiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she continued clinical research training with a fellowship grant from the American Epilepsy Society followed by the Neuroscience Academic Development Award. She has been involved in research related to the intersection of epilepsy, autism and language regression and has also been involved previously with the Duplication 15q 11 duplication syndromes, having been the Medical Director of this specialty regional clinic at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, prior to transitioning to Yale University. She is currently working on developing collaborative projects with the Yale Child Study Center.
