FORUM ON THE OUTBREAK OF A NOVEL CORONAVIRUS

In response to news and concerns about the respiratory illness outbreak caused by a novel coronavirus initially identified in China, the Yale Institute for Global Health, Yale School of Public Health, and the Global Health Justice Partnership will hold a discussion and question-and-answer session on Thursday, February 6, 2020. Panelists will address the epidemiology of the disease, its impact on public health, human rights issues and how information on such outbreaks is communicated to the public.
Although there are currently no identified cases in Connecticut, the University proactively works closely with health authorities and state offices to protect the health of all communities.
