New Educational Initiative [IM]EDucators Launching in March

February 21, 2021
by Julie Parry

[IM]EDucators, a new educational faculty development series designed in response to department faculty feedback, launches on Friday, March 5 at noon.

This four-month pilot was created from faculty requests across the department for additional training in teaching skills. The topics to be covered were generated at a Departmental Educational retreat and then voted on by the DOM faculty as priority areas. Each of the four sessions will be held virtually on Fridays once monthly at noon. Sessions will last one hour and will be recorded and posted on the website. CME credit will be offered for each event. Attendees will be asked to complete an evaluation at the end of each class to assist in the building of future content.
