Rosemarie Fisher, MD, professor of medicine (digestive diseases) and of pediatrics, was elected to receive Distinguished Service Membership from the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC). This recognition was given for her contributions to advancing AAMC's mission, and her dedication to AAMC and the Council of Faculty and Academic Societies. Formal recognition of her election will take place during AAMC's Annual Meeting in Boston on November 3.
