This rotation offers clinical teaching and practice in Primary Care, through the Primary Care Clinic at Yale New Haven Hospital and also School Based Clinics.
Also offered is referral care for complex medical issues (through the Adolescent Comprehensive Care Clinic in New Haven and also at our Norwalk location, other locations include the Yale Family Planning Clinic and Yale Sport Wellness Clinic).
Additionally, residents see adolescent patients at a number of sites outside Yale; these include a College Health Clinic sessions at Fairfield University, (under the guidance of Joanne Zolkowski-Wynne), and the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention facility. These clinical sites are offered to provide residents with a varied and comprehensive clinical experience in Adolescent Medicine.
