We are delighted about your interest in Yale Pediatrics. We loved our time as residents at Yale and are honored to be chief residents this year. Yale Pediatrics had everything that we were looking for in a residency program: a lively academic community offering every subspecialty, robust research mentorship, educational and curricular innovation, and a passion for lifelong learning. Interactions with co-residents, fellows, faculty, and program directors create a rich, rigorous, and personalized residency education that allows graduates to successfully pursue any career path, from subspecialty academics to primary care to advocacy and global health. New Haven is a dynamic and engaging place to live and work, and many residents choose to stay at Yale even beyond residency.
The New Haven area is also exceptionally diverse, both economically and demographically. As a referral center and a refugee resettlement center, we see children from all over Connecticut and all over the world. We treat patients in a variety of clinical settings ranging from our Primary Care Center and local private practices to our Pediatric ICU and level I Pediatric Trauma center. You will be challenged to find your niche, work hard to expand knowledge, and strive to improve children's health everywhere.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions at all at firstname.lastname@example.org. We love talking about Yale pediatrics, and we cannot wait to meet you on interview day.
