Erin Rainosek, MD, MPH

Biography

Erin Rainosek is both a designer and pediatrician focused on challenging legacy behavior from within a fragmented healthcare system.

She is currently a Pediatric Resident Physician at Yale. Until 2016, Erin worked at Central Health in Austin Texas to help create an integrated system of care in Austin in collaboration with Dell Medical School. In 2018 she received a longitudinal grant from the Society of Hospital Medicine to reimagine patient experience as a basis for improving care delivery at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She co-founded OpenIDEO Austin in 2017. During her time with OpenIDEO she recruited over 200 members while strategically partnering with universities, local government, industry experts to creation impactful solutions focused on environmental sustainability, urban inequity, and access to affordable housing.

She earned her BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and her MD/MPH from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio.
