Education

The staff cardiologists and nurse practitioners of the Yale Pediatric Cardiology Section are active in the teaching mission of the Yale School of Medicine, the Department of Pediatrics and Yale-New Haven Hospital. As such, they participate in a wide array of educational opportunities. Yale Pediatric Cardiology physicians have coordinated or been on faculty for symposia such as the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Symposium, Pediatric Interventional Catheterization Symposium, International Symposium on Congenital Heart Disease, Society for Pediatric Research, World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiology 2010 and many others.

Yale also sponsors a number of CME events for pediatricians and pediatric care providers in the region, such as the Annual Yale Pediatric Update.
