Commitment to Diversity
Fully recognizing the critical role that diversity has in our training programs and our community at large, the Yale Pediatric Fellowship programs are committed to recruiting trainees from a wide variety of backgrounds and with differing life experience. We strive to meet this goal by considering applications from all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and physical ability. For more information, please visit our Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Our Fellows’ Advisory Council has a peer-selected leader to represent Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our programs. Our programs work closely with Dr. Marietta Vazquez, Vice Chair for Diversity in Pediatrics, to ensure that we are upholding an environment of support, professionalism and equality for all of our trainees.
