One Hundred Years of Pediatrics at Yale
A Message from the Chair
Yale Pediatrics is led by Clifford Bogue, MD, Waldemar Von Zedtwitz Professor of Pediatrics; chair, Pediatrics; and Chief Medical Officer, Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital.
At Yale Pediatrics, our comprehensive program combines educating the next generation of leaders in medicine and science with providing best-in-class clinical care and forging groundbreaking research. Academic and medical excellence is enriched with robust initiatives in policy and advocacy, diversity and inclusion, social justice, and improving the health and wellness of children and adolescents. This year, I invite you to celebrate the first 100 years with us as we look forward to the next 100.
We have a lot to look back on and be proud of. From making advances in early infant care and the care of the preterm infant, to the research and care of children with diabetes, to accomplishments and regionalization to the care of children with congenital heart disease and following their course, to early surgical techniques — Yale Pediatrics has always been a pioneer in life-changing research and care.
Join us this year as we celebrate our historical innovations and achievements and continue our journey as a world leader in improving the health of children and adolescents by transforming and integrating pediatric education, research, and clinical care.
