The Specialized Translational Services Lab provides automated quantitation along with in-situ analysis of proteins and nucleic acids.
Mission
Our mission is to provide standardized and reproducible high quality analyses of biomarker expression levels. The specialized Translational Services Laboratory (STS Lab) at Yale University is a CLIA-certified research and service facility. We specialize in in-situ quantification of biomarkers in various tissue types, maintaining tissue morphology and spatial information. We offer objective and reproducible quantification of proteins and nucleic acids of formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissues using quantitative immunofluorescence (QIF) to measure biomarkers of interest in tumor/stromal areas and subcellular compartments.
