Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital is one of 18 recipients across the country to receive a 2016 Hyundai Impact Grant from Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW) and New Haven-area Hyundai dealers. The $50,000 Impact Grant was presented to Gary Kupfer, MD, Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology/Oncology) and of Pathology and Section Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Smilow Cancer Hospital, during a handprint ceremony.
Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital was chosen as a recipient due to its proven track record of caring for children with pediatric cancer. These grant funds will be used to improve care and increase treatment options for kids with cancer.
