What is Yale CME and How Can We Help You?

October 22, 2021

Yale Continuing Medical Education (Yale CME) offers a variety of continuing education programs directed at the professional needs of licensed physicians in various specialty areas, with the goal of enhancing health care and meeting the state requirement of 50 Category 1 CME credits every two years. Yale CME is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and has been awarded Accreditation with Commendation as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.

It is our mission to advocate and support the continuing professional development of health care practitioners toward the betterment and health of society. By collaborating with the Yale clinical enterprise, Yale CME offers a full range of evidence-based educational programs based on adult learning principles that enhance the clinician's knowledge base, provide updates and review, and expand competence and performance.

We strive to be the “educational home” for our learners at Yale School of Medicine and the outlying community, and we have implemented a learning management system (LMS) that will enable us to achieve this goal. This LMS, CloudCME, houses a feature entitled “MyCME” where learners will be able register for our CME offerings, claim credit, and more. Below is a breakdown of the features to which MyCME users have access:

  • Transcript: A complete record of CME credits earned through Yale CME-accredited activities
  • Evaluations & Certificates
  • Registration Records & Receipts
  • Syllabus

It is free to create an account, use these tools, and become part of our community. Sign up today!
