Many inborn errors of metabolisms (IEMS) are associated with increased risks of cancers. The recent studies have strengthened a link between them. However, the mechanisms remain unknown in most of cases. Lot of observations in clinic offer an important opportunity for further investigations and could have a significant impact on cancer research.
