Jaskirandeep Grewal Presents Study at Major Conference

Jaskirandeep Grewal, MMSc ’22, who graduated from the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Physician Associate (PA) Program in December, was first author on the study Characteristics of Breast Cancers Detected in a Decade of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Screening, while still a student. Grewal completed the study as her Alternative Thesis Project, a requirement of the PA Program. The paper was accepted for presentation at the Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, and Grewal and her thesis advisor Liane Philpotts MD, professor of radiology and biomedical imaging, presented their findings at the conference.
