  • 00:11I'm often asked about the difference
  • 00:13between a physician associate
  • 00:15and a physician assistant.
  • 00:16In the end, we all practice as P as well.
  • 00:20One of the main differences is
  • 00:23our programs focus on research.
  • 00:25Our research program is rigorous one.
  • 00:27We believe the PS need to utilize
  • 00:30principles of research methodology.
  • 00:32Public health and evidence based
  • 00:34medicine if they are to practice
  • 00:36medicine to the best of their ability,
  • 00:39this training is one of the many
  • 00:41reasons why our graduates are so
  • 00:43highly sought after this year.
  • 00:45We introduced the new alternative thesis,
  • 00:48celebrate the traditional thesis
  • 00:49and highlight a project funded
  • 00:51by the Wilbur Downs Fellowship.

  • 00:56strong work and several studies
