Discrimination and Harassment Resources

Department Diversity Vice Chairs and Champions : As part of YSM plans to enhance diversity and inclusion within each organizational unit and at every level at YSM, departments have a diversity vice chair or champion. They are instrumental in engaging their departmental colleagues to promote DEI efforts throughout the school.

Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinators : These individuals were chosen by the dean of each school to receive student concerns and offer advice and guidance related to diversity and inclusion, discrimination and harassment, and equal opportunity. Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinators may also help facilitate informal resolution.

Title IX Coordinators : Title IX Coordinators resolve complaints and address issues of gender-based discrimination and sexual misconduct, and also develop and disseminate programs to ensure that students, faculty, and staff work and study in a community that promotes respect and responsibility.

Phyllis Bodel Childcare Center : The Phyllis Bodel Childcare Center cares for children ranging in age from six weeks through pre-kindergarten. WFF Seed Grant : The Yale Women Faculty Forum is pleased to continue our seed grant program in the 2021-2022 year. We offer these grants to identify innovative ways to support the WFF mission by investing in the diverse work of faculty and student scholars at Yale. We extend this program to support our tripartite mission of fostering gender equity throughout the University via policy initiatives and research; promoting scholarship on women and gender across the university; and promoting mentorship, collaboration, and networking. We aim to expand research in areas of gender study and build visibility for issues and policies relating to gender in higher education.

Women’s Health Research at Yale : Women’s Health Research at Yale incorporates the study of women and the influence of sex and gender in science and medicine. We bring together Yale faculty from diverse fields. We respond to health questions women face and discover sex/gender differences that benefit all. We train the next generation of researchers and clinicians committed to improving the health of women. And we collaborate in advancing health policy. Learn more about how we're shaping the future of research.
