Jessica Lawson, Ph.D., is a clinical research postdoctoral associate in the Program for Obesity, Weight, and Eating Research. She also serves as a behavioral health consultation for Virtual Health Partners, a virtual multidisciplinary platform for bariatric and medical weight loss patients. SHe completed her internship at Geisinger Medical Center and received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Dr. Lawson has specialized training in clinical health psychology with a focus on health behavior change, behavioral weight management, assessment and treatment for disordered eating, and bariatric surgery psychosocial assessment. She is an active member of The Obesity Society and proud to currently serve as the early career representative for the bariatric surgery section.
