Jaime Szarmach, MD

Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging; Section Chief, Breast Imaging Western Division

After completing a residency in Diagnostic Radiology, I performed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Yale. I stayed on as an attending physician in the Breast Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and have practiced Breast Imaging at Yale for more than ten years. During this time, we have remained on the forefront of breast cancer detection and diagnosis as early adopters of 3D mammography and screening breast ultrasound. More recently, I expanded my role to serve as Section Chief for Yale Breast Imaging Western Region which includes sites in Fairfield County where we provide breast imaging services.
