Biography

Dr. Angelique W. Levi is currently Associate Professor, Vice Chair and Director of Pathology Reference Services, and CLIA Laboratory Medical Director in the Department of Pathology at Yale University School of Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Union College with honors from the Biology Society. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Rochester, NY, and was awarded the Medical School Dean’s research scholarship and the Hawkins Pathology Award from the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She subsequently received her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology followed by fellowship training in Cytopathology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, during her training at Johns Hopkins she developed subspecialty expertise in genitourinary pathology. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and is an attending pathologist in genitourinary pathology, thoracic pathology, and the cytopathology services at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Levi presents regularly at the Smilow/Yale Cancer Center Prostate Tumor Board and the Head and Neck Tumor Board, and Co-directs the Multidisciplinary Gynecologic Colposcopy Correlation Conference. Dr. Levi is a clinical investigator in the Clinician Educator track. Her research interests are primarily in the areas of gynecologic cytology and prostate pathology.
