Dr. Alison Schmeck is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. She received her MD degree in Florida. Following a surgical internship at the University of Florida, Dr. Schmeck relocated to New York City and completed her residency at Columbia University/St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. She then attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for an ACGME accredited fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology. She will be pursuing an additional fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Yale starting in July 2022. Her clinical and research interests include high risk obstetric cardiac anesthesiology. She joined the Yale University School of Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology in July 2019.
