Julie Silver, MD, associate professor and associate chair, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School, will visit YSM campus Thursday, December 1 and Friday, December 2, 2022.

The Office for Women in Medicine and Science (OWiMS) is pleased to welcome Julie Silver, MD, associate professor and associate chair, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School, to campus on Thursday, December 1 and Friday, December 2, 2022.

Dr. Silver has held numerous leadership positions and is a former start-up company founder. She has received many awards and was recognized by The Boston Globe as the Top Innovator in Medicine. Dr. Silver’s work has focused on cancer rehabilitation, patient care disparities, workforce diversity and inclusion, and physician wellness/burnout—often intersecting with innovation and implementation science. She has published groundbreaking research on workforce diversity and inclusion topics and is actively involved in supporting all healthcare professionals. Dr. Silver directs a highly acclaimed women’s leadership CME course at Harvard Medical School. Her courses have trained thousands of physicians and other healthcare leaders throughout the U.S. and internationally.
