New Haven

New Haven is the second largest city in Connecticut, but for a major city, it maintains the feel of a smaller college town. Downtown New Haven is an area that includes Yale University, Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) as well as a myriad of coffee shops, renowned restaurants, bookstores, clothing boutiques, apartments, bars, clubs, and performance venues.

The greater New Haven area provides immediate access to a wide array of outdoor activities. The Connecticut shoreline is a great place for boating, swimming, and fishing. Nearby mountains can also provide options for hiking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing. There are many sports leagues with participants from both Yale University and YNHH. Our softball team, The Boneheads, is one of the most feared and revered teams at YNHH.
