Ali received her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Princeton University. Her undergraduate thesis research in Ilana Witten's lab focused on the cognitive function of D1R and D2R in the nucleus accumbens in a complex decision-making task. She is a member of the core research group in Neurocritical Care and Emergency Neurology, assisting with clinical trials related to ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and traumatic brain injury. In the lab, she assists with the SPAN project.
