The Yale School of Medicine medical student group Vot-ER has finished a strong second in the nation in the number of people it has registered to vote and absentee ballot requests it has generated as tabulated by the Healthy Democracy Campaign. HDC, which sponsored this effort, is a voter registration drive led by students in medical schools and other health care education programs across the country. Students from more than 75 schools competed.
