Video: Women in Medicine 2021

September 24, 2021

Dear faculty and staff:

As many of you know, September is Women in Medicine Month. We’d like to recognize all the women faculty. There are 356 women and 425 men in the Department of Internal Medicine, with women making up nearly 50%.

While the field of medicine still has work to do in addressing the gender gap, we continue to make strides in this area. The department is proud to support all the women in our department—physicians, scientists, educators, investigators, and staff too.

Please take a moment to watch the video highlighting some of the amazing women faculty and staff who continue to make advances in health care, science, and academia.
