Join Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Greenwich for a virtual Smilow Shares Greenwich program session, "Promising Progress on Prostate Cancer Detection and Treatment," on Tuesday, September 22 at 7:00 pm. Michael Leapman, MD, Clinical Program Leader, Prostate & Urologic Cancers Program at Yale Cancer Center (YCC), Bruce McGibbon, MD, Greenwich Hospital Radiation Oncology and Daniel Petrylak, MD, Professor Medicine (Medical Oncology) and Urology at YCC, will be presenting important information about this potentially deadly disease.

“In the U.S. this year, more than 191,000 men are expected to be diagnosed with prostate cancer,” said Leapman. “This is a stressful time, a difficult time to have concerns about your health, but men need to understand the signs and risks of this disease and learn about screening to help prevent prostate cancer.”
