Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Waterford physician Stephen Lattanzi, MD, is highlighted in the 2021 list of Top Doctors in Connecticut Magazine. Published in the magazine’s June issue, the 'Best Doctors' list includes physicians nominated by their peers. Dr. Lattanzi cares for patients with all cancer diagnoses and has a particular interest in malignant and benign hematological disorders and gastrointestinal cancers, as well as underserved populations.

Dr. Lattanzi received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in medical oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He is a former President of the Connecticut Oncology Association.

The team treats more than 1,000 patients per month with 750 infusion visits and 1,100 visits in radiation oncology.
