The first "Perspectives for Inclusion" lecture for the spring semester will feature a panel of YSM students, researchers, faculty, and staff, who will discuss disability in academic medicine. The program will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 3 p.m., in The Anlyan Center auditorium.
Hear first-hand from your colleagues with disabilities about how to create and advocate for accessible and inclusive environments, foster positive mentoring relationships, respect privacy and autonomy, and imagine a wider world of possibilities for yourself and for future cohorts.

- Monkol Lek, PhD, assistant professor of genetics, co-leader of Yale Faculty with Disabilities Interest Group
- Victoria Rai, PhD student in cellular and molecular physiology, co-leader of Yale Graduate Student Disability Alliance
- Eva Rest, MD-PhD student in epidemiology of microbial diseases at YSM and YSPH, co-leader of Yale’s chapter of Medical Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (MSDCI)
