Liza Konnikova, MD, PhD, and Sarah N. Taylor, MD, recently received a research award from the Binational Science Foundation for a study looking at the influence of diet on the intestinal health and growth of preterm infants. Konnikova is an associate professor of pediatrics (neonatal-perinatal medicine) and Taylor is a professor of pediatrics (neonatal-perinatal medicine). They will collaborate with Omry Koren, PhD, of Bar-Ilan University, to determine how maternal milk and pasteurized donor human milk exposures impact very preterm infant outcomes.
