Kellie Jurado, PhD, has been slected as a Charles H. Revson Senior Fellow in Biomedical Science. The fellowship provides a generous stipend and designated funds for operational and travel support over a two-year period from 2018-2020. Aimed at assisting third and fourth year researchers engaged in experimental basic research, the selection process fields dozens of highly-qualified candidates from 13 top medical and research institutions.
The recipient of a L’Oreal USA fellowship in 2017, Jurado works in the Iwasaki Lab in the department of Immunobiology. Her most recent research investigated immunopathy during Zika Virus infection.
