Jamadagni, Platt, & Yatziv Honored With 2022 Kavli Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Kavli Institute for Neuroscience is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 Kavli Postdoctoral Fellowship.

The Kavli Postdoctoral Fellowships enable outstanding postdoctoral associates the opportunity to pursue new and innovative research at the interface of neuroscience and other disciplines under the joint supervision of mentors with different areas of expertise.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Priyanka Jamadagni (mentors: Ellen Hoffman, Child Study Center & Neuroscience, Matthew Girgenti, Psychiatry) “Investigating PTSD Driver Genes in a Zebrafish Model”
  • Maryann Platt (mentors: Elena Gracheva, Cellular and Molecular Physiology & Neuroscience, Anne Eichmann, Cardiology & Cellular and Molecular Physiology) “Maintenance of blood-brain barrier integrity in hibernators
  • Tal Yatziv (mentors: Helena Rutherford, Child Study Center, Philip Corlett, Psychiatry) “Neurocognitive Mechanisms of Caregiving Across the Perinatal Period”
