Haeny, Woerner honored with travel awards

Angela Haeny, PhD, and Jacqueline Woerner, PhD, postdoctoral fellows in the Division of Prevention and Community Research at The Consultation Center, have been recognized with travel awards for their research work.

Haeny, who completed training in June with the Yale Department of Psychiatry’s Doctoral Internship in Clinical & Community Psychology, was honored with a travel award from the College on Problems of Drug Dependence. She was also a recent finalist for the Enoch Gordis Research Recognition Award from the Research Society on Alcoholism.

Woerner was honored with a travel award from the Society for Prevention Research which works to advance scientific investigation on the etiology and prevention of social, physical, and mental health, and academic problems and on the translation of that information to promote health and well being.
