Genevieve Yang Awarded F30 Fellowship by NIMH

September 15, 2015

Genevieve Yang was awarded an F30 fellowship by the NIMH to investigate the neural mechanisms of disturbances in people suffering from schizophrenia using a combination of modeling and neuroimaging approaches. Genevieve will be co-mentored by Drs. Alan Anticevic and John Krystal. The project also involves a close collaboration with the Murray Lab by leveraging large-scale neural models to predict patterns of brain disturbances that may occur in schizophrenia.

Genevieve's project is a critical step towards helping us understand the links between synaptic disruptions hypothesized to occur in schizophrenia and neuroimaging findings across distinct neural states.
